WELCOME TO SVDP LIVE
WELCOME TO SVDP LIVE
Fresh off his European tour, Toronto-based artist SVDP is set to embark on his debut U.S. tour this fall, with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, and New York.
The tour follows a landmark year of career-defining highlights: the release of his self-directed video “AIYO!”; a feature in the cinematic hit The One alongside Sid Sriram and Santhosh Narayanan; a performance at London’s iconic Wembley Arena; a nomination at the Webby Awards; and the successful completion of his first European tour. Now, SVDP is ready to bring his high-energy performances to U.S. audiences for the very first time.
Fans can expect a powerful setlist spanning his acclaimed catalog, from the 2021 classic Made in Jaffna to his latest film collaborations and mixtape singles. Known for his electrifying stage presence and captivating delivery, SVDP also promises a few surprises exclusively for this U.S. run.
SVDP has graced the covers of Rolling Stone India and NOW Magazine and has been spotlighted by Forbes, Vogue, GQ India, Complex, Mass Appeal, BBC, and more. With five studio albums, over 100 million streams, and more than 50 million video views, he has built a dedicated global audience across 13 countries since 2016.
In 2019, he launched the groundbreaking Mrithangam Raps series in collaboration with producer Yanchan. Fusing rap with the ancient South Indian hand drum, the mridangam, the series pioneered the genre now known as Carnatic Rap—earning more than 50 million views worldwide.
SVDP’s artistry has been recognized at the highest levels: in 2022, he was nominated for Video of the Year at the Juno Awards for his self-directed “Neeye Oli”. In 2023, he won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Music in a Comedy Series (HBO/CBC’s Sort Of), and a month later, his self-directed video “Angels” won a Webby Award in the Arts & Experimental category—making him the first Canadian ever to receive the honor.
Currently at work on his highly anticipated sixth studio album, SVDP is ready to deliver an unforgettable debut U.S. tour. Tickets are available now—don’t miss your chance to experience one of music’s most innovative voices live on stage.

our manifesto
a new Third Space for the next generation of Tamils
—
"That is what we, ar•ram•bam, are striving to be — the new third space for us, those who are at the intersection of our Tamil and Western cultures. And, ar•ram•bam is not just for us, it’s for our non-Tamil friends as well, to share our Tamil culture with them and invite them into our community with open arms."
